Gynaecology

Gynaecology is the study of the female reproductive system and the breasts. Slightly different to obstetrics, gynaecology deals specifically with women who aren't pregnant.

Gynaecological problems are extremely common in females and the range of issues include infertility, incontinence, prolapse of pelvic organs, menstrual periods and cancer of the reproductive organs including ovaries, fallopian tubes, uterus, cervix and the vagina.

Our consultants are extremely experienced in this form of medicine and understand that the initial consultation may be uncomfortable for many patients.
