Pre-Operative Assessment

Pre operative assessment is one of the main areas of excellence for The Sefton Suite.

All of our consultants and team are trained to make sure that each patient going into surgery is highly informed about the procedure and all post operative information.

The planning of the pre operative assessment is just part of the overall procedure which at all times enables you to make informed decisions every step of the way.

This in turn will enhance your experience and give you the confidence to deal with the surgery both prior and during rehabilitation.

In every assessment we will make sure that you are ready for surgery and there are no problems that may affect that. We will also make sure that, along with being in good health, arrangements have been made for you to be collected and looked after if necessary after the surgery.

All future appointments will also be discussed at this time. 

If the surgical process both before, during and after goes efficiently it is a positive for both patient and surgeon.
